We are planning a maintenance at 19:00 UTC today 5 June 2024 which will involve migrating backend infrastructure. We expect a roughly 30 minute downtime for specifically the backup service in Cloud Manager. This maintenance will prevent backups from being taken during this downtime but the system will resume normal backup operations once the migration is complete.

Existing backups will not be altered and will still be available after the maintenance is completed. In-progress restores will complete as normal during this event, but new restores (automated or manual) will not be able to be started. MongoDB Agent processes will log backup errors during this time.
