Monitoring

We have identified an issue with MongoDB Atlas Clusters in Azure Australia East that can cause a node in an Atlas cluster to be down. In some rare circumstances, this may cause monitoring for a particular Atlas Project to fail and cause clusters to appear down when they are not.

Atlas clusters that would normally undergo an autoscaling event will delay doing so until their downed node is revived. To workaround this issue, we suggest changing regions, adding additional nodes, or preventing high traffic to the cluster while this issue persists.
