Monitoring

We have identified the source of the issue as excessive memory consumption on one of the backing database nodes in us-east-1, which was causing connections in that region to time out and fail.
Restarting the node has restored normal connection times, and we're monitoring the cluster to ensure that everything continues to operate normally.
Users should now see normal request latencies and successful API call executions.

Investigating

We're currently investigating reports of increased API response times for requests to Realm services, affecting all regions.
